Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. My profound hope is that you see something here that resonates with you, just as the works of other photographers have resonated with me.
I am originally from the East Coast but have been out here on the West Coast now for over 40 years. It is where my wife is; where my children are. It is home.
The wilderness and far-off lands have always called me. From the woods of the Hudson Valley to the barren peaks of the Sierras; from the back alleys of Kathmandu to the summit of Kilimanjaro.
People talk of photography as “chasing light.” I find myself “chasing darkness.” It is what I am drawn to. It is what I see.
I participate in juried shows and am always grateful when I have received awards and even more so when people are moved to purchase one of my photographs. This tells me that perhaps they too see what I see, they too feel what I feel.
